Tatsuta River
Tatsuta River is a famous river written about in Japan's greatest Waka poetry anthology. This pattern in this sari is called Unkin, which combines cherry blossoms and autumn leaves. The incomparable beauty of the cherry blossoms and autumn leaves was represented in a Waka poem of 1100 years ago called Tatsuta River. These scenes have been engraved in the hearts of the Japanese people and have been passed down from generation to generation as a classic kimono pattern.
