Maple Leaves on a Cloisonne

Maple Leaves on a Cloisonne

Tatsuta River is a famous river written about in Japan's greatest Waka poetry anthology. The incomparable beauty of the autumn leaves was represented in a Waka poem of 1100 years ago called Tatsuta River. These scenes have been engraved in the hearts of the Japanese people and have been passed down from generation to generation as a classic kimono pattern.
